Controlled production of Biogas is important for global carbon cycle. Every year 800 millions tones of methane are released into the atmosphere. Three steps of producing Bio gas:

Hydrolysis:
It is where enzymes degrades complex carbohydrate, lipid and proteins into their constituents units
Acedogenesis: It is where  hydrolysis products are converted to hydrogen, CO2 and acetic SCID.
Methanogenesis: It is where obligate anaerobic bacteria controls production of methane form acedogenesis products.

  • Requirement of a Presettler for reducing TSS
  • Soluble CODs load crosses 4000 Mg/L
  • Effluent response will be anaerobically to bio degradation with proportionate generation of bio gas
  • Digester can be used for handling 80% of Soluble load
